Developed over years of teaching beginner students, and a particularly frustrating term where I realised none of my students were counting properly, I wrote out these very sight readable phrases for my students to use with metronome. The idea is that they get one play-through for notes, and then one to do it perfectly with the metronome! Beginning with simple crotchet and minim rhythms, this escalates to dotted subdivisions and semiquaver rhythms that will take students to grade 5 level, and ensure they count with a sense of pulse. A must have for my teaching!
