This Roussel gem of a piece gives a fresh, French style take on the traditional fanfare. Originally arranged for the Kensington Brass Celebration of Brass season, it was the opening fanfare for the 2^nd half inspired by the performance of the Maurice Andre brass ensemble. This version for 8 trumpets was adapted for the band of the Coldstream Guards.
