This Roussel gem of a piece gives a fresh, French style take on the traditional fanfare. Originally arranged for the Kensington Brass Celebration of Brass season, it was the opening fanfare for the 2nd half inspired by the performance of the Maurice Andre brass ensemble. This version for 6 trumpets was adapted for the students of the National Children’s Orchestra and Hertfordshire County Brass Band.
