Made famous in Stanley Kubrick’s 2001 a Space Odyssey and further parodied in countless films, this opening fanfare from the Strauss masterpiece is instantly recognisable by audiences everywhere of all ages. Written for Kensington Brass in 2013, this transcription worked in both serious recitals and children’s concerts.
